Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Austell Powder Springs by IHG

Clean room, comfortable bed, and good breakfast

The location was close to stores and restaurants. Check-in was quick and easy. The room was a good size with a sitting area, mini fridge, microwave. Beds were comfy.

It was a little musty smell in the room and lobby area. Sprayed lysol, and the smell was gone.

The breakfast was a full breakfast with lots of options to choose from. The area was clean and comfortable and most importantly the coffee was good.

Our room was clean but smelled old and tired. I would suggest a refresh of the flooring SOON! The lobby furniture needs refreshing too. The breakfast and staff were very nice and kind. One thing that astounded me was there was NO drinking water unless you purchased it! I felt Holiday Inn Express would do better than this.

The floor I stayed on was very noisy, which made it hard to relax. Additionally, the bathtub wasn’t draining properly, so I couldn’t take a shower on my last day. The hotel definitely needs some maintenance and improvements.

I only had one tv remote

Was told I could do early check in and still got in around regular check in because house keeping had to clean rooms, which what caused the delay, when I got there another family was waiting to check-in and was sitting there for a couple of hours, after was told the same thing I was told about check-in.
