Great view and very clean!

The room itself looked clean. The bed was a hard spring bed not a pillowtop as shown online. There was no A/C or even a fan. We had a courtyard king room. Which was misleading as it didn't lead to a courtyard but a small grassy hill in-between our room and the rooms in front. The room smelled like mildew and the balcony as well. We could see the ocean over the roof of the building in front of us. The pictures online are definitely deceptive as to quality. The buildings are run down.

Hotel location is good. Room fine. Service well below par. Front desk staff was Rude, could not be bothered to answer questions. They did not like that we booked via hotels.com.

Great hotel, i went here because if it having a sauna. The sauna was not working

Fantastic view and beach access!!! Really can't beat it. Overall, hotel is run down . . . the pictures online are a little deceiving. Wish the staff would have been a little more flexible with an early check in.

Room was remodeled and clean. Close to everything

Beach access is great and having the balcony for the ocean view was perfect. But the room was not very clean. The carpet was stained and seemed very dirty. The vanity light in the bathroom was a bare bulb with no cover. Overall, the property is slipping in maintenance and cleanliness. We've stayed there many times over the years, but we doubt we'll be back.

Surftide is a great place to stay for the price. My only complaint was that the steam room and suana where out of order when we stayed there. And one of the bed sheets was super thin and old and my wife caught a toe in a hole in the bed sheet and ripped it in her sleep. We will probably get charged for the sheet. The beds are very comfortably but we did find some hair and fuzz on the sheets and pillows. Other that stuff. Great experience.
