Good staff very secure location very nice atmosphere. Only downside was there was no Halaal food . Had a good trip

The hotel was well placed with plenty of activities around the area. I particular I enjoyed the game drives that the hotel organises. I found the drivers to be very knowledgeable about all the wildlife in the park.

Breakfast service can be a bit slow during the peak hours but this was quite minor.

The rooms are quite big and the beds, the Zulu dance was lovely

Plenty. I booked two rooms. Extractor fan in the bathroom (room 224) did not work. Took maintenance two days to come to the room to inspection. Inspected. Said switch is on the roof, will check and come back. Maintenance never came back. All rooms were mopped with one bucket of water and one mop. No change in water or mop. Just smelly black water from room to room. When the putrid water dried it stank the room up. I requested a re-mopping. New bucket was brought with clean water, but same old used mop used. Towel replenishment daily was a lucky draw, sometimes they would give you bath sheets, sometimes not. Sometimes you would get hand towels sometimes not. Housekeeping staff would watch videos and Tik Tok in the passages between servicing rooms. Buffet menu advertised vegetarian pasta. Since the hotel does not cater for halaal consumers, we ate veg. Usually not a problem. Only this time... the advertised veg pasta had chicken in it! Reported it to the manager who had the most apathetic, disinterested attitude. Carpets in the passages were never vacuumed or swept during our four day stay. The carpets reeked! The throws and pillows in our two rooms smelled like sweat. Stale, sweat. Tables and benches outside were never wiped. Whenever we walked around the property, garden benches and tables were covered in twigs, leaves and water. No matter the time of day.

It has been renovated since the last time I was there the rooms look very good.

TV channels are limited. Most families now use smart TVs and have subscriptions like netflix, disney. It will be good to have smart TVs as improvements. Also the dinner otions can be made better.

A great place to stop during a long journey. The kids’ area is nice and very useful to let children burn off some energy. The buffet is better than the restaurant and offers more choice. Overall, a relaxing and practical pit stop.
