privacy, tropical settings, beautiful beach, great services downside: rocky ocean bottom, impossible to walk without shoes. Also, a restaurant or bar - elevated, close to water with views is missing

"Overpriced and disappointing experience"

We felt that the hotel was extremely overpriced for an experience that was average. For similar hotels in a similar 5-star category, you can get much better facilities, food quality, and service. We left feeling disappointed.

We enjoyed the natural setting, vegetation, beach and the room layouts. Ocean view and general setting is awesome. Mix ceviche scrumptious and fresh! Staff are super friendly and very accommodating to guest needs. Butler service outstanding, Thank You Julio, Victor, and Luis - extremely nice!

"Excellent"

Pros: The staff goes above and beyond to make sure you have an enjoyable experience. The food is delicious. We weren't traveling with children so it was nice to have a separate adult pool/beach which was quiet. Cons: Our first room smelled super musty and moldy from the AC unit. I woke up with a horrible headache and switched rooms. Ask for a second story suite. None of the jets worked in both hot tubs. Most of all, there were SO many birds on the beach, in the water and on the rocks in front. At times I felt like I was in a Hitchcock movie. I even got pooped on at dinner. I guess they are not there year round but I would avoid the hotel in April. I am not exaggerating when I say there were 500 - 1000.
