The Westin Reston Heights

I really enjoyed the accommodation. The room was very clean, organized, and there was no cicada noise, which was a concern for me. The breakfast was very good, with a wide variety of options. Overall, I was very pleased with my stay.

I was disappointed that the pool was closed and that I had to wait to check in. When I arrived, there was no one available to assist me at the front desk. I went to the restaurant to ask for help, and an employee told me that someone was supposed to be there, but since they were not, they were probably busy and I would need to wait. After a five-hour drive, we arrived tired, so this was quite frustrating. I believe the hotel could train another staff member to assist with check-ins when the person responsible is temporarily unavailable. This would help provide a better experience for guests and avoid unnecessary waiting times.

Not welcoming. Beds hard. No art. Cold and institutional feeling. My husband and I have been staying at this hotel for years. It’s near our son’s home and we stay here when we visit. The hotel no longer feels comfortable. No warmth, welcome. Finding someplace else next time.

Location

We were only there for less than 24 hours but even in that brief time we couldn’t help but notice how incredibly helpful and friendly the front desk staff were!

Location, scent

Outlet in bathroom did not work nor did the outlet on the desk, water was shut off without warning of the morning we were checking out so no shower

The staff was smiling and super friendly the environment is very welcoming and you can tell that pride is taken in this hotel as far as being clean

The parking garage had water standing in it and was very dark even at the elevator . Other than thst I cant say anything but I would have loved to stay longer
