Ubizane Wildlife Reserve

Grundsätzlich tolles Hotel mit Tieren, die um einen herumlaufen. Leider war unser Bettlaken mit Flecken überseet. Team ok, aber es gibt bessere .

Stayed here for 2 nights as part of a group touring holiday. Wish we were there for longer. Staff friendly. Stayed in the tree lodges on stilts with Impala roaming underneath. Food good and lots of it. Served in a dining area overlooking crocodiles and Weaver birds busily building their nests in the Fever Trees.Good buffet selections at breakfast lunch and dinner plus afternoon tea before departing on game drives. Antelope, giraffe, zebra and buffalo in Ubizane reserve itself. Short drive to Hluhluwe Umfolozi Game Reserve where we were lucky enough to see lions, elephants, buffalo, rhino, zebra and giraffe. Wonderful guide who was both informative and entertaining. Weather changed (wind and rain) on our return later in the day for another game drive and this time the animals were more elusive, proving you need luck on your side. Only negatives were no safe or hairdryer in the rooms. Would thoroughly recommend.

Spent two nights here as part of Distant Journeys South Africa tour. The Tree Lodge has an idyllic setting with individual rooms on stilts set in the bush with Impala, zebras, giraffes and monkeys roaming freely. The rooms were basic but really clean and comfortable. No television, but who needs one in this setting, and no room safe whchi was more disappointing. The food was excellent. The best breakfast we have had in South Africa and all other meals well cooked with good variety and generous portions. The two nights we spent here were unforgettable.

Stayed here for 2 nights as part of the Distant Journeys Spectacular South Africa Tour. Great room in the Tree Lodge with views over the park and passing wild antelope. Spectacular views from the communal dining area of Weaver birds nesting in the tree opposite. The room was clean with all amenities other than internet and a safe (although we never felt the area was insecure). All meals were excellent which included afternoon tea and mid morning snacks. Tours of the game reserve were well organised and very informative. A must visit place if you want to experience good quality hotel in a rural setting. Would definitely recommend.

The staff were friendly and helpful and changed our room when we asked for the most peaceful and remote room. The food was excellent. The rooms were great with very comfy king size beds and comfy pillows. Was surprised to see caged animals in a wildlife resort and that upset me. Lots of rabbits and birds in a small area with no sunlight - depressing. It's a great place to unwind - very peaceful and relaxing.

Man kann Tiere gleich bei der Wasserstelle sehen kurz vor dem Check in.Strauße sind auch auf dem Gelände anzutreffen. Leider sahen wir keine weiteren Tiere mehr als wir auf unserem Balkon saßen. Der Bungalow ist schön eingerichtet und das Bett wird am Abend extra noch aufgedeckt. WLAN ist nur Restaurantbereich möglich gewesen. Das Zimmer- Bad waren sauber.

Ett alldeles utmärkt ställe, med djur inpå stugknuten och apor vid frukostbordet. Mycket trevligt boende.

bon accueil , les bungalows sont très jolis et très bien décorés, rien à redire. Seul bémol, réglage de la température de la douche très difficile.
