Villa Matejuska Heritage

The location is excellent and easy to find. The hotel also has the restaurant next door where breakfast is included with room. They were very helpful with the luggage up the stairs. There is no elevator. They took luggage down the street (no cars allowed) to taxi when we left. They are behind the Monastery (church) opposite end of boardwalk where ships docks are and taxi sits. It is easier to walk up on the right side of Monastery, til you can take first left. It is a little down hill until you see their restaurant Konoba Matejuska, with tables on the lane. If you go along the water(left of monastery) you have a steeper , cobble street to bounce your luggage up.

The best part of this hotel was the location, which was excellent. However at our arrival the person was not welcoming and did not want to offer suggestions about anything. The rest of our time there (3 nights) there was rarely anyone around to answer questions or offer help.

Villa Matejuska Heritage is located at one end of the Riva promenade, just up the street a block. It's very well located. I was in Room 2, which was quite large and comfortable, with a sitting area, kitchenette, bathroom, and a bed in a separate area with dividing wall. The manager(s) were super friendly people and provided an easy check-in / check-out process. Looks like there is a good restaurant downstairs but I didn’t have the chance to enjoy it. WIFI good too! I'll definitely add it as a go-to place for Split! Thanks!

Very cute place, very comfortable and great location. I wished we had stayed here longer.

Clean and charming room, we checked in around 10pm and someone was still able to come and check us in no problem he was very kind. The room was very clean and cute, and location was very close to the main town center but also tucked away. I highly recommend to anyone in Split!

Perfect room for 2 on a cute little street in the center of everything. In riva, the promenade, which is the center of town is 5 minutes away, but the hotel is in a great area with tons of great shops and restaurants nearby, including the hotel's own restaurant which was so busy we couldn't get in! We wish we had made reservations! I highly recommend this hotel. My friend and I did not want to leave!

best is location. next to the sea, old city and the main squares. Also the neiborhood was excellent fun places to go for dinner. etc.
