The Wellsway

Really lovely hotel, very clean and spacious room, with everything you could need to make it a home from home. breakfast was great with a wide choice of options, but what made it even more special were the owners Pat and Whisky, they were very friendly, attentive and helpfull.They made our week in Torquay a very enjoyable one. We would have no qualms in recommending The Wellsway as the place to stay at when in Torquay. Best regards Carol and Glen.

2 night break, could not have picked a better hotel, nice spacious room, friendly and helpful owners and very good food. Just a 15 minute walk to the town centre though the old abbey / park.

This b&b is exceptional. Spotlessly clean, fabulous breakfasts and the hosts Pat and Whisky are very warm and friendly who go out of their way to make you comfortable. The bedrooms are very well equipped with comfortable beds. This is by far the best b&b we’ve stayed in so we’ll definitely be back. Off road parking is a bonus too.

Very friendly hosts who explained the safety procedures very clearly on arrival. The room was spacious and very well equiped. The bedding, towels and fixtures and fittings are all of a good quality. Breakfasts were ordered the night before and were tasty and varied and made with good quality products. The property is an easy walk to the beach through the Abbey park. All in all, we had a very nice 3 day break

Stopped off to break our journey back home from Cornwall. Really pleased we booked the Wellsway.

This hotel is an exceptional bnb quality written all over it lovely friendly couple 10 minutes walk into town but cheaper pubs at top of the street if your on a budget the Lansdowne being the best

Beautifully presented, very friendly hosts, made us feel at home. Excellent cleanliness throughout, we were told we had the smallest room but it was very spacious, well decorated, modern room with plenty of storage and a fab bathroom with walk in shower. Lots of little room touches lovely fluffy towels, biscuits, bottles of water and toiletries in bathroom. Great choice for breakfast which we made the eve before, I had a lovely fresh plate of fresh fruit and yoghurt and salmon and scrambled eggs my partner had a full English which he said was lovely. Easy to find and park and a lovely short walk through Torre abbey to the town. Great value for money will definitely stay here again on our next visit. Highly recommend, thank you Pat and Whiskey for a lovely stay shame it was for only one night, we will be back.

Chosen for Tesco Clubcard availability, brilliant choice. Convenient, immaculate, friendly, great service and small. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would go again; we would also recommend it to friends.
