The Kunja

We were two nights at The Kunja for our honeymoon. The property is fabulous. They have massive Villas where you have a personal in-house chef who will prepare fresh local breakfast for you throughout your stay and also the property can arrange barbecue night with a romantic dinner for couples. All villas are with huge pools and bathroom is equipped with bath tub / jacuzzi.

The villa is spacious and well maintained. The staff are helpful and polite at all times. Breakfast was great. We didn’t like the Indonesian food catered for room service. We tried it twice and was disappointed. Better to take a ride from the villa Drivers and go explore the restaurants nearby. Overall good value for our money if you don’t mind staying away from the beach.

Oasis in the middle of busy town. Loved the private pool and chef that comes to cook every breakfast. Not so convenient to get to the beach if you wanted easy access.

These villas were amazing, they were clean, relaxing, decorated to a high standard, spacious and amazing service. We didn’t once use a cab as kunja provide a driver locally and you are walking distance to all of the top restaurants and bars. We will definitely stay here again!

The Kunja is without doubt the best place we've ever stayed. The accommodation itself is very high end (fluffy towels, super comfy bed, brilliant shower, hairdryer, toilettries, bathrobes, slippers etc) and the staff simply cannot do enough for you. I was worried that I might find having someone to come in and cook my breakfast for me a little intrusive. It's anything book. The breakfast cooks arrive at a time of your suggestion, cook your choice of breakfast, wash up and leave. They are friendly, polite and great chefs. The pool is a good size and brilliant to cool down in on a hot Bali day. The location is quiet and a 5-10 minute walk to the start of the bar/restaurant/shopping areas. The beach is probably 20-25 minutes walking, but the staff will take you anywhere you want to go and will pick you up again on request. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. If you want relaxation, privacy & comfort at a reasonable price don't look anywhere else. The Kunja has it all!
