Courtyard San Diego Airport/Liberty Station

What a lovely hotel! Beautiful, quiet atmosphere. We enjoyed a top floor room with balcony, tasteful furniture placement, wonderful amenities and loved being able to have our sliding glass door open for the fresh air. Room was quiet and we have booked again for this month when we visit our son and his family nearby. Would highly recommend.

Staff and service were impeccable especially Jason and the gentleman working the bar area both Tuesday and Wednesday evening 11/25 and 11/26. Dinner and breakfast were both delicious and the market has plenty of options for snacks and beverages. Chose this location for the convenient proximity and complimentary shuttle service to the airport and glad I did. Only thing to note is that my room smelled as though someone with a pet had stayed in it prior to my stay and I thankfully happened to have both candles and a febreze plug in on hand. The carpets are in dire need of a deep cleaning. Our socks were black after several hours of walking in the room. That aside, the staff service supersedes the room issues. Overall pleasant stay.

The hotel was very accommodating. We had loud neighbors, and when we asked the front desk to move rooms, they moved us promptly.

They were conducting sewage work during our stay, which resulted in a bad smell.

The location is the main selling point here, plain and simple. If you need easy access to the Naval Base, the airport, or Liberty Station, this is your spot. The rooms were very clean, and the staff were quick and actually helpful whenever we needed something. Now for the downsides: The place shows its age. The common areas looked a bit tired, and the hallways were hot. The walls are thin, too. You'll hear the people above you walking around, and sometimes even noise from the sides. The property is perfectly fine if you prioritize location and cleanliness.

Perfect location. Close to the airport and within walking distance to a lot of interesting restaurants and museum venues. Staff was wonderful and the room was perfect.
