"Not sure I'd stay again for the price"

Stayed 2 nights in room 119. Hotel has potential, but needs some work.Trim was missing near tub, exposing moldy area. 2nd night the toilet wouldn't flush. Although not a big deal, TV was only in black and white. Bed was comfortable though.

"Would not stay here again"

Not much. Room was decent size but not clean or stocked

No towels, no tv remote, room was dirty upon arrival no soap in dispenses. Dirty containers for the cereal breakfast area not cleaned. Ac in room squealed all night so didn't get much sleep. Attendant was nodding off at check in desk and playing on phone when asking for stuff for room

Wasn’t the cleanest place and didn’t get room cleaned. Lots of dirt noted at baseboards and corners of elevator. Couldn’t find a staff member at 5 am to pay for snacks.

"Comfortable, pleasant experience"

Beds were quite comfortable. Would rather have vinyl plank rather than carpet. Would rather have 2 bathroom switches so could have light on with no exhaust fan on instead of fan always on. Nice quiet location. Very bad odor in parking lot from dumpster. Maybe dead animal. Nice breakfast choices.

The hotel was fine, the room was fine, and the staff was quick to get me checked in and out. The hotel is located right off I-20 so access to and from was easy. The area around the hotel is run down, but that is all of Winnie, the hotel doesn’t have any control over that.

Property is dated, a pond would be cleaner than the pool. We got to the breakfast just before 9 and it was gone. Everything you would expect for a $50 a night hotel

"All in all, for the Town of Winnie, this was above average, considering what we have experienced from most other hotels"

The beds were extremely comfortable. The rooms were clean. The warm breakfast was good.

The water pressure was low, in shower. Carpets stained, but otherwise clean. Exterior garbage cans and dumpsters were over flowing. During the five days, the maid came to the room once. We ran out of toilet paper and never had any facial tissues.
