Hampton Inn & Suites Austin South Buda

This property is a bit worn down but it was clean and staff was friendly and helpful.

The only thing that was unfavorable about our stay was that there was a large group of high school students staying at the hotel. They didn't quite have the proper hotel etiquette when leaving very early in the morning. Was continuously woken up by doors slamming shut as they were departing in the early am. Just wish we could have stayed on a different floor from them. Otherwise, the hotel was what we expect when looking for a room.

We stayed there on the first part of our month vacation. After staying here for a night about a week later we were notified our credit card had been compromised. Someone was trying to buy gaming stuff on our card. The reason we know it was compromised at this location is we NEVER use our Hilton card anywhere else except in a Hilton location. The attendant took our card in case of incidentals. Our card information was already in the computer, he didn’t need our card. The next night we stayed at a Hilton in Orange Tx, she never asked or touched our card. Not too hard to figure out. As far as the hotel itself goes we’ve stayed in better Hiltons but we’ve stayed in worse as well. We called the Hilton corporation thinking they would care to know one of their employee at this Hilton location was compromised, but they didn’t seem to care so thought I’d put it out there, maybe you might be interested in your credit card & be aware.

Excellent place to stay in Buda!

This place was ideal for us. It was very close to our tournament site, clean, good sized rooms, and had free breakfast and parking. The staff that I encountered (Megan and Alyssa) were so kind and helpful. The breakfast was great for a free breakfast IMO, they had the waffles that you make yourself which is something I enjoy while traveling and they had different flavors of waffles, as well as a selection of toppings. I also appreciated that the breakfast started at 6 am even on the weekend, because we had to be at our tournament site by 7. I was with the group who had to find a new hotel in the 11th hour because of bugs at our original location, and genuinely felt that our last-minute change worked out in our favor. Of note, there was a dance hall near-ish and I could hear the music inside my room (I could see it from my window). Bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. I didn't notice much (if any) noise from within the hotel unless someone let their door slam. There was also a great selection of restaurants nearby

We stayed at the Hampton Inn Austin/Buda last weekend while in town for a volleyball tournament. Our original hotel had pest issues and we were desperate to find a clean, safe facility for our families. We found that in the Hampton Inn Buda! From the time we arrived Jabrill was friendly and made sure we checked in ok. He was still there in the morning and made sure we knew about breakfast and our needs were met. The second night of our stay Alyssa was so sweet to our girls and families. She was very friendly and even baked us fresh cookies. They truly made what could've been a horrible experience a positive one. I would definitely stay there again because of their friendly service and cleanliness!

Excellent Stay – Amazing Staff! We were in town for a volleyball tournament and had to find a new hotel last minute after discovering our original booking had roaches. Thankfully, Hampton Hotel came through for us in the best way possible! Megan was an absolute lifesaver—she accommodated our entire team on short notice, helped us get our rooms booked quickly, and was incredibly patient throughout the process. Alyssa went above and beyond by reserving a meeting space for our team to bond and enjoy dinner together. She even made us fresh cookies, which was such a sweet and thoughtful touch! Jilbill was also fantastic—he made sure our team had everything we needed for breakfast and was very attentive to all the details. The hotel itself was in a perfect location, close to plenty of food options, and even had a Walmart within walking distance, which made things super convenient. I can’t thank the staff enough for their kindness and hospitality. They truly made a stressful situation so much easier, and our team had a great stay because of them. Highly recommend this hotel!

I really enjoy the accommodations and your great breakfast options. The front desk associate Cynthia was really helpful. She should be in management.

I feel the cafeteria associate was rude and overbearing when it came to self service. My wife even felt uncomfortable serving herself with your staff watching over her shoulder.
