Marriott’s Mai Khao Resort - Phuket

The rooms are huge. Enough space for a family or two to comfortably relax. Many activities for all ages. Pool is very nice. Property is clean and well kept. Staff everywhere was very friendly and helpful. Location is great, walking distance from Turtle Village but property feels secluded and safe.

To access the beach, must take a shuttle to the JW Marriott instead of just being able to walk there.

We've had the pleasure of visiting Marriott Mai Khao Beach Resort multiple times, and each stay gets better. The staff's dedication and warmth are truly magical, making every return a joy with familiar faces and a contagious love for their work. The recreation team, led by Apple truly knows how to bring the fun. Morning yoga and stretching sessions led by Gorrie were the perfect way to start the day, and paddleboard yoga and muay thai cardio boxing were the highlights for us. Even on rainy days, the team kept us entertained with creative wet-weather activities. Special mentions to Popcorn and Pia from the Kids Club- Papaya salad making by the Pool is something we enjoy each time we come here and these ladies are really gems. Thanks to the rest of the recreation team - Lukling, O, Gun, Man, Issy and Lean for making every class a blast. The housekeeping staff, Nina, Yoko, Layla, and Natacha for the daily animal towel surprises and impeccable housekeeping. The cleanliness here is really top notch and one of the best in all the hotels we’ve stayed in. The front office and bell staff were extremely helpful and polite, and we wish we got their names! If you're looking for a family-friendly resort with a heart, look no further. It's the people here that make it hard to leave. We've grown attached to this resort, and it feels like a second home. We can't wait to come back and experience more of what mai khao beach has to offer!

Marriott's Mai Khao Resort - Phuket 住完Marriott's Phuket Beach Club，轉酒店住埋Marriott's Mai Khao Resort - Phuket，比長老們一次過試晒兩間Marriott Resort。兩間酒店只是在隔離，揸車轉兩個彎就到，酒店同樣設有車位，同樣先開車到大堂，長老們和家人落車，再將車駛到停車位。Marriott's Mai Khao Resort - Phuket的佔地明顯比隔離的Beach Club細，所以設施非常集中。我也是訂了2房2廳的房間，房間的設計和Beach Club一樣，有兩套房加客廳和飯廳，同樣設有廚房、洗衣機和乾衣機。之前住地下，今次住6樓，最高層，可以望到整個Resort。 酒店只得一個泳池和1個兒童嬉水池，有一條水滑梯。還有不同的球類活動和健身室等。Kid Club雖然比較Beach Club的細，但我覺得更加好玩，因為有兩層，小朋友可以在兩層中穿梭追逐，玩攰了可以玩電玩遊戲。 傍晚時份有傳統舞蹈表演，非常好看。 酒店服務、環境都好，但住得高水壓有點不足，開水浸浴需時甚久，而且水有點黃。另外4點先可以Check in 10點就要Check out好似太早，不過我早機飛走，所以對我無影響。

Awesome stay at Marriot Mai Khao beach resort. The apartment was amazing, housekeeping team were lovely, as were the guys by the pool, in Zest restaurant and the pool bar. The gardens were always immaculate and the team that work there were so kind and friendly, everyone stopped to greet us as we walked by , my husband said he had never said hello to so many people in a day. We also used the restaurants next door in the JW Marriot , notably Benihana, and Cucina , and we also did a Thai Cooking class. Special thanks to the customer service team that made our holiday such a great experience.

We found the Marriott Mai Khao Resort to be one of the most enjoyable stays we've had in a long time. The property is a smaller resort footprint but a beautiful, peaceful haven with plenty to offer. And the staff was extremely helpful, friendly and professional. We mixed the time of our stay with the resort facilities and day excursions around the island. Whether on property, or helping us coordinate our off-site excursions the Mai Khao team was exceptional in making us feel welcome. Locagted north we were close to the airport but a bit of a drive to the old town and the southern beaches (it was nice to be away from the crowded atmosphere). 2 restaurants on property, both serve excellent food. Noodle bar is top notch and much more than just noodles. Two other Marriott resorts within walking distance. And, you're close to shopping, foot massages, etc. just outside the gated area of the resort...no need to go very far. I've read reviews about the Mai Khao and the only real negative was the location to the beach. Despite my wife's mobility challenges, we didn't find that to be an issue at all. The walk was not that much more than long distances at larger, spread out resorts, and the golf cart/buggy service the team provided made it very, very easy. If you try this slice of heaven, I strongly suggest getting a ground level with your own plung pool...it's worth it.

Visited Marriott Vacation Club Mai Khao (sister property of this) with family (stayed for 3 days) and boy it was an amazing experience. The staff is so humble and helpful specially the kitchen staff. Being pure vegetarians there were very few options in the meal but kitchen staff was kind enough to take our requests and prepare meal just for us. Special thanks to our attendant George in the restaurant who took extra care of us and suggested what all we can try in veg. housekeeping staff is so nice, daily they use to create an animal with towel and put a handwritten note for us with their names. They have lot of activities for the kids, in their kid's club, lot of games, huge pool, kids pool and various restaurants. They helped and guided us to plan our day trip to Phuket town and other excursions. Mai-Khao beach is just on the edge of the property and as its bit away from the main Phuket town, its almost like a private beach as very less crowd comes towards this side. Only side effect of this is anything you want to visit in Phuket would be roughly 1 hour drive away. Overall, it was a great experience, staying again with Marriott. Totally worth the money.
