"Beautiful Mexican hotel in a prime location"

Location was perfect for exploring the historical centre of Pachuca, and as a base for tours outside of the city. There are many restaurants and shops and the local market in and near the zocalo where the hotel is located. There is also a popular restaurant in the hotel itself, especially for breakfast. We walked (10 min) to attend a Luche Libre show. The local bus depot is a 5 min walk away, where we caught a combi bus to visit Real de Monte (mine and town) and Hidalgo Magico (basaltic columns park). The trip to Tolantongo Hot Springs (fabulous) was a 2.5 hr scenic drive into the mountains each way, booked online and with pickup at the hotel. The main bus depot is a 15 min taxi ride from the hotel. This is a beautiful historic hotel with a grand lobby and spacious, clean rooms. Drinking water (for refilling bottles) is available on the 2nd floor landing. We had a comfortable, quiet sleep. The front rooms, overlooking the clock tower and zocalo may be noisier on market nights. We highly recommend a traditional, historic restaurant very near the hotel, La Blanca. We also recommend taking the wooden tram for a tour of the city, which includes the Cristo Rey statue and geo-park viewpoint.

"El mejor hotel del centro de la Ciudad."

El mejor hotel ubicado en el Centro de la ciudad, por un poco mas con vista al reloj emblemático de esta ciudad, el bell boy super atento junto con la recepcionista en turno fueron muy buenos guías de turista. las camas y almohadas a si como todas las cobijas no pasamos fríos!

Lo único malo fuera de lo hermoso del hotel el Reloj emblemático sonaba cada 15 o media hora durante toda la noche.

Location and view are amazing. Really clean hotel and friendly staff. The surraunded area is very safe, nice to walk arround.

Just in the restaurant the michelada quality was really poor.

"Good value hotel"

Very comfortable beds. Mostly clean.

Breakfast was very minimal and quality is lacking. Water drain problem for both sink and shower.
