The Japanese Ministry of Health, Labour, and Welfare requires all international visitors to submit their passport number and nationality when registering at any lodging facility (inns, hotels, motels, etc. ). Additionally, lodging proprietors are required to photocopy passports for all registering guests and keep the photocopy on file. Set meals are served in guestrooms only (no menus or public dining). Please note that some properties do not permit guests with tattoos to use the onsite public bathing facilities.

Fantastic, very Japanese. We slept very well. One note: if you do not like seafood, breakfast is a bit limited. If you do, it's a real treat!

"Traditional Charm at Its Best"

Our stay at this ryokan was an amazing experience. The rooms are beautifully traditional, offering a real sense of place. The highlight, however, was the breakfast—it is a wonderful departure from a typical Western breakfast, and that uniqueness is exactly what makes it so special! To top it off, the staff were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay.

"Wonderful place to stay"

Brilliant property location! The best staff -traditional room - we needed an extra mattress which the staff helped us with. Great onsen - traditional baths- downstairs. Nicest place.

The beds were a bit challenging- everything traditional so not higely comfy for us big people! Watching my husband doing a business call on a tiny chair was a highlight!!
