Hickman Hill Hotel

The room was comfortable and clean. The TV worked well

I was handed the keys and the staff left for the night. No food available for my dinner after a 5 hour drive. No notice of ghis on the booking site. Basically it's not a hotel on Sundays it's a room. Loved chating with the owner this morning but the is definitely a 6 day a week location. Then town is also a bit rubbish on a Sunday evening.

Nice to be in a hotel with some character rather than a typical out of a box hotel. Lovely room with modern shower and amenities. Very comfortable bed. Would definitely stay again.

We loved that the staff were very friendly and welcoming and went above to accommodate my having to be on crutches, this having happened since initial booking

It would be helpful to mention in the description that due to age of property there is no lift available, it was only thanks to the owner that we were able to use the disabled room at the last minute.

A Lovely welcoming home from home, I booked for my dad who is elderly and travelling alone, He enjoyed his stay and will definetly be visiting again. Lovely staff.

Lovely building and garden. Good sized, characterful rooms. Comfortable beds. Friendly and helpful management.
