TRYP by Wyndham Savannah Downtown/Historic District

1st room was on the second floor. The bathroom door didn’t close a they way. Without slamming it. The handicap accessible bathroom, although it had safety bars, I would still have step over the side of the tub. There was no seat in shower. There was no closet The cabinet door under the TV wouldn’t close. It was to large. Then we were moved to a first floor handicapped accessible room. There were stains on the bathroom floor from a leaky pipe that wasn’t cleaned. There was no table and chairs in the living room area. Just a pull out sofa, a winged chair and a lamp. The coffee in the room was tasted like dishwater. So, we went to the lobby to get coffee. There were so many fruit flies near the coffee, we had to go out for coffee. When we inquired about a table, we were brought a 1 foot high round table. I have had a major stroke and brain bleed and my parents have had both their knees replaced. So getting down that low would be impossible. We inquired with the front desk if we could bring a table and 2 chairs from the common area…(they no longer serve breakfast), we were told we weren’t allowed to , they said “they may need it” To retrieve your car, your supposed to use the app. We tried and the only thing that came up was request a $7 tip after paying $30 per night. Management was terrible. Service was great I would say bring the pool back and make the fitness center smaller. People are staying at the hotel for vacation and a pool is more enticing than a fitness center.

Nice staff & convenient location

This is a bare bones hotel lacking a pool, breakfast buffet and restaurant so service should be a priority here but it isn't. The rooms lack basic amenities such as bottle opener, clothes line, safe and towel racks. The air conditioning and weak pillows did not give me a good night's sleep. The TV had sound issues. The fitness center was not maintained well. It lacked towels, water cups, and sanitizer. The window was leaking and one machine was broken. Housekeeping does not come in to make up your room or take out the trash.

Dirty, especially the floors. A little more vacuuming would go a long way.

Valet parking only sucks.

Excellent hotel. Well kept and the service was great. Will return for sure. Highly recommend.

I found the area convenient to walk to shops and parks. The room was nice however our refrigerator did not work. I disliked the parking and feel like 30.00 a day is too much.
