Blue Spruce

I have been coming to the Blue Spruce for years. I always receive a warm welcome.

We came in late and checked out early so literally only showered and slept but we’re pleased with the cleanliness of the room and the friendliness of the staff when I had questions. It was small but nothing in contradiction to what we expected. Cute place!

It was a little odd having to send a picture of my id and cc to be able to have a late check in(although I understand they have their security reasons for doing so).

I was able to upgrade to a larger room with ease and not very much more money. When we couldn't get the heat to work properly in room 126 the staff immediately moved us to 127.

The comb heat/ac units in rooms 126 and 127 were very hard to get heat from. After 2 days we figured out that if we wanted the room to be 69 we had to set it at 76. Then eventually it would get to 69 degrees

Well located, excellent facilities, very friendly owner, considering the price it was an excellent value and overall experience.

There was no breakfast.

The room was too small and not the one I chose on-line. The bathroom was not particularly clean. The little refrigerator did not have a freezer so we could not keep our ice packs frozen for use the next day.

They didn't clean or give us new bath towels for the second day, we left early the next morning so it didn't matter much but not at least cleaning and changing the bedding? I thought was strange.
