Armeni Village Rooms & Suites

Our cave house apartment was in a perfect location! In the heart of all that Oia has to offer, and yet not in the super crowded center. It is down some stairs so one gets the feeling of Santorini, yet it is not a chore to go back & forth to your rom several times per day. Having breakfast brought to your room or eating it on your private patio is a lovely way to start the day! And your choice of 2 small but lovely private pools is very welcome on those hot Santorini afternoons. A perfect cave house – both in location, comfort, and service.

The hotel is at an excellent location very close to the village centre of Oia. Staff are excellent and friendly especially Erica. However, there is room for improvement regarding the breakfast arrangement. We booked two junior suite rooms and stayed there with our two daughters. However we were not allowed to use the tables outside the rooms facing the beautiful caldera as we were told that we had a balcony with a table and the tables outdoor were for other room guests. So the guests from superior rooms could actually enjoy much better view and arrangement for breakfast, and we as a family found it extremely difficult to have breakfast together every morning. We ultimately had to squeeze in one room and had breakfast in a table for two!! Considering the room charge we paid, it is doubtful if the stay is good value for money.

The staff was very nice and tried to be helpful. The location was fantastic. However my issue probably is with hotels.com and what they promise to have the hotel provide. It was not accurate. But the hotel did its best to accommodate.

An absolute dream of a hotel in the best part of Santorini. Great pool and beautiful views. A friendly and competent staff that goes above and beyond for your needs. The rooms are clean and well kept. The hotel is in the heart of the Oia.

Horrible experience. After returning to the hotel, we noticed multiple items were stolen from the hotel room. After brining it to the attention of the management staff, the man proceeded to scream at us and yell at the top of his lungs and said he could kick us off the property for making such accusations. Walking down the steps back to our room, hotel staff from another property stopped us to ask if everything was okay - they proceeded to tell us that this hotel consistently has issues with items being stolen out of rooms. The hotel rooms are also not as pictured, this hotel isn't any better than your less than average hostel.

We stayed in a "Superior Suite, Hot Tub" room, and it was everything we hoped it would be! Important note before check in: Call the reception desk and they will send a bellman to help you with your luggage. The steps up and down are a bit steep, but after all, you're in Santorini! The cave-like rooms are intended to hearken ancient Thirian homes, and yet they also create amazing modern spaces! We loved sitting in our hot tub and looking out over the iconic Oia skyline. Breakfast is simple, but it's all you need. We loved opening up our windows and gazing out over the caldera while we nibbled. It's a great central location and easy to access most points of the village. Because you're in the heart of Oia, the local area is swarming with tourists however the hotel is vigilant about keeping the grounds private for guests only too! Also, there isn't a dedicated parking area, which would have made things more convenient, especially when fighting the transient sunset-watching crowds. But it wasn't the end of the world. Note: you are in a cave, so mobile phone service is spotty, and the wifi is on par with the rest of Greece, meaning free but unreliable at best.

Amazing views from this hotel. Perfect for couples and very centrally located. Highly recommended. If anything should improve abit it's the speed of the WIFI. But overall magical.

This hotel has a splendid view. It was one of the best on the island. It is in a nice location in Oia, which is close to a lot of great restaurants. There's a nice pool outside. Breakfast is not included. The bed was okay not too comfy. The biggest issue that I had with the hotel was the amount of stairs. It was a horrific amount of stairs. It made us choose very carefully what we wanted to do around the island since we had to climb 50 stairs to get out of the hotel. Parking is not close by and you are on your own to find it. Other than the stairs and no place to park, it is a great place to stay on the island if you want a nice place to stay in Oia.

Great experience staying at this location in Oia. We loved it. We had room no 2 and we were very pleased with it. GREAT VIEW!!!! The staff of this hotel is awesome. Every single one of them. If we were to return to Oia, we would definitely try to return to Armeni. Thank you for the beautiful stay, we really appreciated it.
