One elevator wasn’t working, my refrigerator didn’t work and shuttle was off with a flat tire

First the people were very nice, the shuttle drivers and front desk were nice. However, when I arrived and got my first room the fridge was broken. Asked for a fix, I was in a king suite, got down graded to a double queen, but yeah the fridge worked, had a place for my diabetes medication. Took a long time to get up and down as one of the elevators was broken the whole stay. Second room, bathroom door was broken, wouldn't open all the way or close completely. Internet and tv, my tv would not connect to the netflix or max, just spun and said no connetivity. called the front desk 4 times over 2 days and said we will send a person, never did... overall a very sad stay, one of the worst Courtyard properties I have stayed at...

I'm still reeling from my disastrous stay at the Courtyard by Marriott Atlanta Airport West. The experience was marred by basic infrastructure issues and blatant disregard for guest comfort and safety. Upon arrival, I settled into my room only to discover that the front door wouldn't lock properly. I was surprised to learn that it had previously been broken into (see photo), but more disturbingly, the staff hadn't seen fit to repair or inform me about the security risk at check-in. I had to YouTube a solution, which you can see in the photo. Wedging a rag in the broken lock mechanism. But things only got worse from there. With an early flight to catch, I woke up at 4:00 AM to shower and get ready, only to find that there was no water in the room. I waited until the absolute last minute before calling the front desk, but my room phone did not work, so I called from my cell phone and there was no answer. The kicker? There was no hot water. Not a single drop. What's even more astonishing is that management knew about this issue and chose not to inform me at check-in. When I brought it up with the staff member during checkout, they confirmed that they had been aware of the problem for some time and they were trying to work on it. Needless to say, I will never stay at Courtyard by Marriott Atlanta Airport West again, nor will I stay at another Marriott property. The lack of basic amenities and blatant disregard for guest comfort and safety is inexcusable. If you're considering booking a room here, think twice - there are far better options available. UPDATE: I've requested a response from hotel management regarding this incident, but so far, none has been forthcoming. As a paying customer, it's appalling that they wouldn't take responsibility for their mistakes and make things right.

I stayed at this hotel YEARS ago when it first opened. The area changed so much, I wasn’t sure, but the Walgreens was still there. I had a HORRBLE experience with someone trying to get in my room by using a device type stick under the door at another brand’s property, so I made this reservation 3am after it happened. I received a call that it would cancel due to the CC being expired, but once I called back and spoke to Shirley, she made sure I would have a room when I got there. I actually came earlier to use the restroom, and decided to ask anyway, just in case. Viola, a room was ready earlier than she anticipated! I was thankful! After my event I came back late and encountered the night guest specialist and she authorized a later check out so I could rest! Once I checked out, I was able to see Ms. Shirley on my way checking out. I really enjoyed this start and will come back. I appreciate this hotel being available in the Nick of Time!

The property representative double charged me for the room and then laughed about it. Told me funds will be returned to my card and it has not been returned. The water in the shower would not get hot and I let it run for over an hour.

No complimentary water which my Bonvoy status should have gotten because they were out. No offer to rectify that. One of 2 elevators was down, making it a slow wait for the operational one. No one manning the bar, and no alcoholic beverages to offer. A decent hotel with ancillary issues.

Very nice room. Clean and comfortable. Called for pick up from Atlanta airport, front desk misunderstood that I was ready and at the pick up location and said that the van was on its way. I waited from 545pm to 620pm no van, I took a taxi instead. Arrived at the hotel and saw the van. I don’t know why the misunderstanding. Bistro was average . Food was decent. No drinks were available. You had to buy it from the hotel sundry market next to the front desk. While the rooms were nice the floor was paper thin and the stomping elephant in the room above woke me up at 2am. I suggest a top floor room. Hotel is adequate for a short stay with no frills
