Microtel Inn and Suites Baton Rouge Airport

The staff and property was great I love the set up of the rooms.

The loud smell of marjuana that caused me to check out at 3:00am and take my daughter to the hospital because she was having difficulty breathing.

Great customer service, Rooms were nice and comfortable. The new renovations they did made the hotel look great.House keeping was great and on point.

There's nothing I can say that I didn't like about this hotel.

The property location was very convenient.

The male staff that check me in last night was very rude when asking him simple questions. He also was on a personal call while I was talking to him and I was getting very confused on who was he talking to while I was trying to check in

The rooms were newly renovated and very nice although the fridge was leaking and not stabilized. The staff other than management was very nice. The parking was well lighted and kept very clean

The management weren't very friendly. Especially the elderly woman who was extremely rude and proceeded to scream at me because I was looking for a paper plate in the cabinet where they set up the continental breakfast. I was doing so because there is never anyone at the front desk. She was unnecessarily rude and screamed at me in a very arrogant and demeaning manner. I try and respect everyone I meet regarding ethnicity and I will not be spoken to disrespectfully by anyone even if they are foreign..To be honest, the rooms were nice and comfortable but I will never stay there again because the managements treatment of their guest and the way they talk to their staff. One last thing. Its nice that they provide doggie poop bags but they should be more visible and not placed at the back of the hotel where they are unseen.
