The best hotel to stay in Mr farouq the owner is amazing and all his family are the best, so helpful, kind, awsom people & become our family The hotel is perfect, the view more than perfect, they have a very nice terrace to see all the land marks, rooms are clean and tidy Perfect for all the family member Guests from everywhere and met all of them as the owner dealing with them as part of the family not as a guests We were sitting during the night all together enjoying the weather and meeting new people I do recommend it for family and couples

The location was excellent. Of the main road, relatively quiet. Staff/owners were always welcoming.

Nothing specific. Guess the stairs, but most places have them. No biggie.

Beds were comfortable and the room was very quiet. Location in the centre of Goreme is good as well.

The room smelled musty and damp, aeration was not great, air extraction was weak. At breakfast, we noticed that they gave to coming guests unfinished small pots of jams from guests who had just left instead of providing new ones. When we asked about it, they said it was ok because guests use knives to take jam from the pot. We had to insist to get unused jam.

Excellent breakfast, traditional house and warm family run business. Loved it!

I spent a long time reading reviews when trying do decide where to stay in Cappadocia, and ended up choosing Kismet house because many people had commented about the kindness, helpfulness, and friendliness of the family who runs it. It's hard to state how big a difference that made for me on my trip. They truly welcomed me like a family member, even inviting me to a special dinner (they normally only serve breakfast) in the dining room upstairs. My room (Cave room, 104) was exceptionally comfortable and clean, and surprisingly big and had both a jacuzzi bathtub and a huge shower (and heated floors?!?!). The location is excellent, right downtown, a short walk down a side street so it's very central, but also very quiet. The rooftop has many terraces with incredible views, especially good for watching the balloons fly directly overhead at sunrise. The breakfast (served daily) was a huge treat, everything was abundant and beyond delicious and many of the items (jams, dried fruits, yogurt...) were either home made or sourced from the family's farm (they even gave me fresh milk from their cow, which was incredible). Yusuf (a son) was happy to book my tours (Red & Green) and made everything very easy. Faruq (the father, apologies if I'm spelling the names wrong) was incredibly kind and generous and knowledgeable. I will never forget my stay at Kismet Cave House/Mansion, nor the family who made my visit perfect and unforgettable.

I was looking for an authentic stay in Capaddocia and this family run hotel, full of antiques and home made breakfast near the fire did not dissapoint. The terrace is mind blowing and it seems more popular among Turkish travelers than tourists. I recommend!

The hosts were amazing, very attentive and kind for our requests. Our room had a lovely fireplace and was spacious. The location is optimal + the breakfast was impeccable. We enjoyed our stay very much. Would come again if we return to Goreme in the future.

I’m a female who travelled to cappadocia from India along with a friend in early October. So glad that we stayed in such a beautiful cozy place nestled right in the main area of Goreme. All the cafés/restaurants, open air museum were so closeby that we walked and hiked to see the marvels of this beautiful place. The owner of this property was so helpful and courteous and made us feel like home away from home. Learnt so much about the place and the architecture from him. His son, Shahin too is such a sweetheart and helped us in every step of the way; be it booking the tours we wanted or any immediate help we sought… Absolutely loved and enjoyed the heartiest breakfast I had in Türkiye. One must try their all homemade jams, you ain’t gonna find those anywhere!! So, if you really wish to crave home like experience in cappadocia and want to spend time talking to local people, and learning the history, architecture of such a wonderful place like cappadocia, you know where to head to… With loads of love and fond memories, thank you Kismet Caves for such a rich experience ❤️

Great stay with honest and super helpful hosts,( Faruk and Sahin).Great breakfast in a fantastic position. Roof top viewing area and restaurant. Couldn't be happier with our choice and would go back tomorrow if we get the chance. Ruth and Glenn (Australia)

Wonderful, we were greeted by Mr. Faruk and he helped us with everything we needed. The room was clean and the breakfast a delight, everything is made and prepared by them, everything is bio as they say 😍. A beautiful and wonderful family that doesn't say no and helps you with what they can to make you feel good. I highly recommend it to those who love the old fashioned way because the hotel is old-fashioned and made us remember our childhood 😍.
