The main level smelled like sewage. The room was clean, but the common areas had not had a thorough cleaning in some time. There was no free coffee in the lobby for guests as many other hotels offer.

"Enjoyable and convenient"

Enjoyable two-night stay. Rooms are spacious and well appointed. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Spacious bathroom with a convenient makeup mirror, good shower and quality shower products. Fairly convenient to downtown Richmond. Breakfast was just okay, but typical of most hotel breakfasts. We would definitely stay there again.

"How did this hotel get 3 star rating"

4.0

Definitely not a 3 star hotel . 2 stars at best. Halls were dirty, elevators dirty. 2 Oreo cookies were smashed on floor in front of lobby elevators for 2 days and were not cleaned up. No one took incentive to clean up. Very disappointing.
