Hilton Niseko Village

Lovely Ski-in-Ski-out hotel, with amazing amenities. The onsen was beautiful, room was comfortable, food was great. We got there late and got a lovely after hours meal and cocktail, but the breakfast in the actual restaurant was amazing too - insane variety of foods!

Rooms were very nice but bathroom were a bit plastic-y, not so classy.

Great location.

Osen is old and not very clean. WiFi is the worst, with only 7 mbps for download. And the last two days can’t even connect to the hotel internet.

The ski and boot valet were excellent and very efficient.

The Niseko Hilton location could not be more perfect for those wanting the convenience of walking straight outside to the gondola. We love Japan but there was nothing about the Hilton that felt like we were in Japan. Our room was on the 9th floor with a spectacular view of Mt Yotei. It was a decent size and clean. The walk however between the lift and our room was overwhelmingly smelly. There was a pungent odour of sweat and spice aroma that was present for our seven nights stay. The rooms are definitely overdue for a revamp of style and tech. The television in the room looks to be from the early 2000s as does the beside console. The bed and pillows were comfortable but he air-conditioning was so hot and the aircon controls did not work. It appears that the temperature is centrally set and the only relief was to open the windows. Our accommodation included daily breakfast. The hotel breakfast was convenient given there are no other options at Niseko Village. WE were rotated across the 3 or 4 different breakfast restaurants across our week at the Hilton. The chairs were stained, as was the carpet. The timber cabinetry between the windows had sticky residue from food spills that hadn’t been cleaned. The area behind the coffee machine in the Yotei dining room was filthy. The food options were more cafeteria than luxury hotel and the presentation of the food was terrible. Some of the dishes looked like they had been prepared the night before, refrigerated then slid onto a plate, Tupperware shape intact. In two of the dining rooms the yogurt and milks were placed along the windows and were warn from the morning sun. We arrived early at the hotel so ordered a couple of drinks and a Reuben sandwich from the foyer bar. The drinks were cold but the sandwich was a AUD $48 surprise. For that price tag we were expecting a masterpiece sandwich but again, it was beyond disappointing as were the wet and limp hot chips served with it.
