Candlewood Suites Colonial Heights - Fort Lee by IHG

Property was having renovations but did not affect the room or access. Room was clean and well equipped kitchen.

Clean and near shops and stores.

Nothing.

I stay at this hotel often, but there has been an issue that grows wearisome, namely lack of on-site maintenance. I will notice something brokenbin my room, only to be told that it won't be fixed during my stay because the maintenance person won't be in that week. This last stay, the bathroom bent fan was not working, the sink had no hot water, the nightstand phone did not have a dial tone, the nightstand reading lamp bulb was not functioning, the toilet seat was loose.

Convenient and reception staff was very kind. We had our dogs with us.

Bathroom floor seemed dirty.

Reserved walk-in shower suite room was given to someone else We were told we would receive full refund but only received refund for 2 nights not 3. Will not be returning to this establishment.

We will be staying here when we come back next year. Friendly staff, clean room , breakfast was ok but it's hotel breakfast nothing to get excited about. Very very very clean hotel

Love the room...was given a suite with full kitchen. Very clean and comfortable. Check-in clerk was very professional. Renovations were being done on outside so no "Candlewood" sign but would definitely stay again.

I did stay ant candlewood suites and I want my money back on my card to include the 14 dollar insurance fee.

Smelled bad and was not up to date at all no good amenities just not a good experience for us at all
