Edward Hotel

Well located. Easy parking. Nice room. Great managers.

Location is excellent - so close to the Cathedral and restaurants, yet very secure.

The property was clean and comfortable. Check in was easy and extra provisions were provided as needed. The room key also opened the main front door which meant we could come and go as we pleased. It was about a ten minute walk to the transport hubs and town, albeit not the most salubrious of walks. Buses also stopped outside to get to and from Cheltenham. For two nights it was great value for money.

The mattress was a bit too soft and as it’s an old building we were awoken by the room above. Not sure Gloucester was quite for us but it was a well connected hub to explore the surrounding area. Other than that the hotel was very good.

Very clean accommodation with everything you need including fridge large tv, microwave and tea and coffee making facilities. I was visiting from Australia and the attention to detail in the rooms was incredible value. Had the continental breakfast and amazed to see my Aussie favourite Vegemite included in the condiments. Great on site private parking Well done the Edward

excellent hotel Very clean and comfortable excellent breakfast and can order what you want Ideally located close to cathedral city centre railway station and hospital The reason for our stay wa to visit my sister who has been in the hospital for 8 weeks The hotel car park backs on to the hospital so could thave been better Would definately recommend the edward hotel and i should just mention the propriator was very friendly and very informative mick and christine blackburn
