The Morabeza is a haven of peace and tranquility; it is not for those who like a hectic life! They do not have swimming pools with big water chutes, play load music all day or have an endless list of activities. It is for those who have travelled for real relaxation - we couldn't believe how wonderfully quiet it is! The staff move quietly through the hotel and grounds, politely respectful. The rooms are very quiet thus ensuring good sleep and privacy. It is a wonderful hotel and it comes highly recommended by ourselves - thank you Morabeza for being what you are

"LOVELY HOTEL"

The hotel is beautiful and we loved our room. It has very easy access to the town which comes alive at night with lots of very good restaurants. The beach side restaurant was great for lunch, we only ate at the hotel on 2 evenings as there are lots of great restaurants in the town Only downside was breakfast. It was a buffet style breakfast but not all the food was covered and there were flies everywhere. If you want a guided tour around the island then ask for Nelson he was a great guide

Felt that food options were very limited especially around the pool area. A pizza oven wouldn’t go amiss. Bathrooms don’t afford much privacy due to the type of door.

"Solo travel"

"Extremely convenient location"

Perfect. Hotel location for those who like to explore on foot but also feel close to home, well, at least temporary home. Staff were extremely pleasant and friendly or spoke. English, Portuguese, French, Spanish and a few other languages. The hotel has lots of activities and the food options are delicious. The only downside was the old school room keys and the stray dogs begging for food. Hotel is extremely affordable and has a beautiful view of the sea
