VOI Vila do Farol Resort

It love the attentiveness and friendly of the staff. They had programs to keep you occuppied and happy. It wasa fun filled vacation.

The rooms are more like cabins which are very musty. The beaches and amenities redeems the place. The food is not bad for resort. They are well aware their WiFi is down most of the time and do not seem to have a sustainable solution except for charging guests for access to another network. Essentially there is no free WiFi. The employees are nice.

Fick inte bo på det hotellet då det var överbokat, vi fick ett annat inärheten istället. Miss av Hotels. com som hade 3 rum kvar vid min bokning men ändå inget rum då vi kom fram.

Toppenläge nära strand där både bad och Kite surfing ryms. Promenadavstånd in till Santa Maria.

The hotel was very relaxing, lovely layout of the apartments through a garden, the pool is fantastic and the hotel is right on the beach. Buffet breakfast was a nice selection. There are lots of activities and seems great for families with kids. Only real criticisms are that for the money you pay you really should get free wifi, charging €35 for wifi in your room these days is a bit ridiculous! Also check in was a little strange, they wouldn't process us without a printout of the reservation, so took a long time on the dodgy wifi to be able to email it to the front desk so they could print it.... bit unusual! Staff on the front desk were not as helpful as they could have been. However overall we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.

Bra läge vid underbar km-lång sandstrand. Promenad utefter stranden till huvudorten Santa Maria med barer och restauranger och besök på piren där fångsten från fiskarna rensas. All-inclusive med mycket mat och vin/drinkar tillgängligt hela dagen. Nästan varje kväll är det show på "teatern" kl 22.00 som håller mycket hög standard och utförs av anställd personal. Tisdagar är festkvällen med otroligt mycket mat och extra festlig dukning. Vid poolen och i baren är det lekar, vattengympa och aerobics. Det är mycket underhållning men det skall tilläggas att hotellet är italiensk inspirerat. 75% av gästerna är från Italien, språket är alltså italienska med översättning till franska och engelska. Nackdelen är lyhörda rum där allt hörs genom väggarna! Standarden på sängarna är inte den bästa.

Good food. Rooms need updating. They should focus on entertaining also english speaking customers, everything was in italian.

Gutes schönes Hotel im Kolonialstil , Preis/Leistung absolut ok! Nachts sehr ruhig. Schöne Meerwasser Poolanlage. Gute Animation. Gutes Frühstück-Abend-Buffet!

In this era of environmental awareness, please find another solution to the plastic cups at the bar! It is absolut waste in all accounts to serve drinks in a small weak thin plastic cups, that are difficult to handle (they fall over because of the wind) and very damaging to the environment. It is possible to change them to the hard plastic cups that could be washed and re-used.
