"Exceptional"

Very comfortable bed, spacious bathroom and good breakfast. I liked there was a desk and chairs, a wardrobe and easily accessible power outlets.

The group staying at the same time as us was very large so we timed our breakfast not to coincide with them. The breakfast room however opened later than expected so we all went in at the same time. The staff did their very best but there were just so many people and the toaster took forever.

Excellent welcome from the young lady on duty at checkin. Haggis ball & whiskey sauce fab. Breakfast staff excellent. Excellent choice of Continental Breakfast. Nothing too much trouble. Great difference from evening experience.

Room basic but clean. Needed updating. Bathroom clean & modern. Food not great - Staff in the evening were extremely miserable. We were a party of 20. The young man did not smile all evening, everything too much trouble. Asked us to move twice when he could have asked us to move to the Residents bar. Breakfast Plenty of choice but unfortunately the cooked breakfast was very dry & overcooked. Overall disappointing as were have eaten & stayed there before. Room very hot.

"very nice hotel - Staff not so much"

Room was good, Garden at the rear was excellent. Food in general was good although the starter at dinner wasn't up to standard. Haggis balls and a bit of green lettuce. The main coarse and sweet were very tasty.

Most of the staff were not very pleasant and not very helpful, in fact there manner was bordering on rude.
