Plas Dinas Country House

Nice grounds and interesting history to the stately home. Stayed in Princess Margaret suite, large room, huge bathroom. Room could have been cleaner though. Poor mattress with no support. A shame there is no food service in the afternoon, but there is an honesty bar and nibbles available in the front room. Breakfast was ok, but disappointingly small continental selection. Didn't try the restaurant in the evening but looked very cosy and interesting gastronomic menu.

Beautiful country house in gorgeous countryside. The staff were attentive and the dinner excellent. I would definitely go back again.

We had a wonderful stay in this historic home tucked back in a lovely and spacious garden/park. It was a perfect oasis to visit Snowdonia and surrounding sites. The welcome by the staff was warm and helpful, the furnishings elegant with many historic mementos, and the breakfasts and dinners were superb. It is an older house, so it has no elevator. We look forward to returning.

The staff make you feel special at Plas Dinas. Lovely room,very spacious but shower room very small and cramped (not suitable for anyone with disabilities). Lovely relaxing hotel and grounds. A special treat.

Very friendly staff, we enjoyed our stay here. We had a very late check in because of traffic and thet were happy to oblige and make arrangements to let us in

I liked the fact that the original house was built in the mid-1600s, the history of the families that have lived there, the history of the house use (private residence, elder care facility, B&B), and the personability of the current owners and staff.
