The staff were all friendly,inviting and hard working, the room was basic but perfect for us, comfy bed,was warm and adequate for our needs. The evening meal was lovely as was the breakfast and reasonably priced. If your one of those snobs who run fingers along skirting boards or delve into the various crevices in bathrooms then don't stay but if your like us ...enjoy a nice warm comfortable room, happy staff and excellent food then the regent is perfect for you. Definitely will stay again

"Weird one as I had a seizure while there. But members of staff came rushing, called 999 and I think one of them must’ve"

It was clean, comfortable and expedient! Within easy walking distance of the town centre.

Not much, really! It’s an old building but the proprietors have made up for it! 😁

Location and parking

No heating , freezing room. There was someone in the hotel playing drums extremely loud none stop from 9am till 11am sunday morning and singing absolutely unbeliveable to wake up to that, never in my life have i been so furious with a hotel. Dirt & stain on the shower area, dust on windows & blinds. Staff not accomodating.
