Best Western Crater Lake Highway White City/Medford

So wanted to like this place. The building and rooms are fresh and clean. But. No hot water for early evening shower. Was told to just let water run and wait. Gave up after 20+ minutes. Other small issues. No TV remote. Tissues ran out after 4 sheets. Breakfast was OK, adequate. Just stayed at BW Reedsport, their breakfast was great. Hate to complain. But I was disappointed. Part of the problem might be an understaffing issue.

Very nice staff and had a good breakfast.

Only cleaned/made beds when you asked them to. Had to go to the front desk to request fresh towels every morning.

Check in and room accommodations were Excellent. My only less than excellent experience was the breakfast. The hashbrowns were somewhat undercooked and quite soggy in the warming tray so they were sticking together and to the bottom. They were edible but not the best. I didn't find any grated cheese for the eggs so I would like to have that available. They did have good sausage however I really like bacon.

Breakfast was very limited during the time we attended at around 8:15am. They'd offered biscuits and gravy that day, but there was very little gravy left, and only 2 biscuits which we took the last of at the time. I heard from guests there were egg patties, but none were available while we attended. There was very little sausage left as well, but it looked like that had been replenished, as we headed back to our room close to 8:40. A family in line just before us took what was left of the danish options, and those weren't replenished either. The only plentiful options left were the waffle bar, english muffins, or cereal which we didnt choose to have. With plenty of time left before breakfast was closed, we were a bit disappointed with the availability of the food. I get we came later on in the morning, but even still, we shouldnt have to be up at 6am during our little getaway in order to recieve the full menu. The room was great, the room was very clean, and though we could hear other residents music in the halls, in out room it was very quiet. I would definitely stay here again, just more prepared for the breakfast times.
