Staying at Natura Cabana was the best experience my husband and I have ever had. The service was incredible and the food was beyond delicious. We live in the city so coming here was so relaxing. We can’t wait to come back! (And see Lola;))

Staff was great, but food was only "fair" and there are few other dining options within walking distance. Also, there were quite a few young children which made this stay less restful than we were hoping for. Beach was very private but heavy surf and rocks made swimming difficult and even dangerous.

We loved everything about Natura Cabana. The setting is exquisite in a very well cared for tropical garden; all the cabanas are unique unto themselves with all sorts of special design details; the food is very good though a little too much sauce; and the staff couldn't have been more personable and helpful. We booked to get away from the cold and swim. Unfortunately, not the fault of the resort, the ocean had strong waves and currents during our entire 16 day stay making all but impossible to swim and even a dip was difficult on some days. So if you want to swim in warn Caribbean waters, this is not the place to go to. This seems to be the case with the north coast of the Dominican Republic in winter and we should have done a little more research as we then would have chosen a different destination.
