Fresh blueberry muffins served daily. Assists with local sites and dining. Quiet and private. A delight. Caters to AP hikers and their families.
We were expecting a more "woodsy" atmosohere but found the cabins in the middle of a residential neighborhood. Although the location was not exactly as we'd expected, it was a lovely setting nonetheless. The owners were very friendly and there were really fresh baked cookies waiting for us. The town was easy to get around in and the two restaurants we ate at were great. We would absolutely hands down recommend the Appalachian Trail Cafe. Well worth it. Overall a great one night stay in Millinocket - in the shadow of Mt. Katahdin!
Small, family-run cabins. Owner live next door. Plus side: Cabin was clean, hostess helpful and friendly. Rooms were clean and so were the sheets and towels. Owner even left a plate of real home-made cookies as welcome package. Minus side: Our cabin went through some renovation, but seemed incomplete. The bathroom in particular, was tight and has absolutely no countertop for any toiletry. The shower stall was not completely finished. Overall: For its price, it was a good stay.
