Numa Brighton Pavilion

The room itself was clean and appealing with attractive interiors and lots of natural daylight and nice amenities.

The noise. I got no sleep due to the near constant noise from the street and neighboring businesses, with glass recycling taking place at 2am and 5am. They provide you with ear pods so they must know it is an issue, however I cannot sleep with ear pods due to inner ear issues I have experienced. Unfortunately, we also arrived after a 6 hour drive to find several homeless people lying outside the main door and were very aware that we were watched whilst we had a difficult/lengthy time entering the building due to the lack of a reception. We later left and upon returning from dinner found a homeless person sleeping on the benches inside the building in the lobby. This made me feel uncomfortable and unsafe yet could not find anyone to report it to.

Great location

Room very basic. No table snd chair so I couldn’t work there. Only English power points and no usb charging points so not great for international travelers.

View and noise Remote control did not work and the cap for the battery was screwed together, so difficult to change the batteries. No maintenance until the next date
