Great place

Absolutely amazing!! Will be going back and staying again. There’s not one bad or negative thing I can say. First we were greeted with by our two amazing inn keepers. The inn was absolutely decorated perfect such details & so inviting plus cozy. Hot cocoa bar was the best ever. Secret recipe yummy. Our room was was so beautiful, comfortable and perfect. No detail left undone. Breakfast was amazing and my hats off to the chef as his skills melted on our mouths. I would rate our stay 10 out of 5…if you get a chance do not pass up staying & I promise you won’t regret it.

The history of the property and the book detailing where I learned about it. The owners, Paps and Susan are very friendly. The homemade breakfast was treat. Only thing I'd suggest is a motion sensitive walkway to the front door, I fumbled in the dark (gets dark early in November) on the tree roots and other things. Not enough to discourage me from recommending the Buffalo Tavern to other family and friends.

Very quiet!!

I don’t know there’s just something about this stay that really made me uncomfortable. The AC in the room is very loud, the bed super uncomfortable, the blinds do not block out the light the TV was small like maybe 12“ x 16“ small, the decor doesn’t make sense, there’s no desk in the room, no dressers and no closets and the Wi-Fi dropped out, I really wanted to make it work, but after two days, I asked to leave and was told that I would only get a partial refund. The best part of the house was the dining room, which was only available at 8:30 AM which is when breakfast was served which was quite nice. Actually, I had to sit on the couch and work from my laptop from a coffee table I just couldn’t understand why the dining room area wasn’t open to guests. There was just no way I was going to be comfortable staying at this property for five days and it just baffles me at the rates charge these days that we have to except inferior accommodations. I know they get a lot of good ratings, and I was even more baffled at how kind they said the owners were but all we ever got was a good morning, no conversation at all and our gut feeling is because we are a gay couple.

Rural property in the country with a long and interesting history. The hosts were wonderful and the sit down 8:30 breakfast was excellent. Took a prepared lunch with me that was also excellent. Very nice corner room, well appointed with a lot of character. The price is reasonable and I couldn’t recommend the inn more. I’ll return.
