Mccloud Mercantile Hotel

Loved being immersed in a bit of California history in this logging town. The renovations to the old Mill Store to transform the space with elegant, unique rooms were superb! So much thought and love went into every decision for the interiors. Comfortable, quiet, charming. This is a great place to stay in a wonderful part of California to explore.

We loved the town and the hotel quaint and clean. It would have been nice to be informed that the restaurant was closed on Tuesday and Wednesday. From the photos, we were looking forward to eating and drinking at the restaurant. We found one restaurant in town that was open on a Wednesday.

This place was amazing the 1897 structure is quite a charm if you love antiques, very spacious and confirtable the amenities were very nice and products smell like peppermint. Only thing that could improve is to add blck oit light curtains the sun was very bright at 6am and the blinds dont reslly block it out. Second thing would be to ficx the squeaking beds lol theyre old and very noisy every turn you do. Matresd was very comfortable and overall a woundergul experience with breatj takinh views of Mr. Shasta

It was a cute room in a cute town but was pricey for what you get. When they say check in is at 3pm they mean it! The free breakfast was a $10 voucher for each guest at 2 places to eat. We chose the Cafe next door the food was great. It would have been nice to have coffee in your room to make. Overall it was nice but hope to have a better price. $200 for a night is a bit much with no coffee pot or microwave.

A charming place to stay in McCloud. Our room was beautifully decorated, with super comfortable beds, and was quiet at night.

No place better can be found anywhere. The room , bed, bath, staff, location all as good as can be.

Awesome room! Comfortable Bed, Clawfoot Bathtub, Dual-Shower, Breakfast Vouchers were all awesome! One exception was the all night rumble of what was probably a fan outside of our room!

It’s a very unique historic hotel. The mercantile room was huge, very clean and cozy. We felt transported into a different era. The fire place by the common area it’s a plus.
