I was charged but never got the room

I didn't like the fact that my card didn't work. I had cash we drove to Walmart 3 times trying to get the money on a card only for it not to work. We were tired but couldn't get the room. Then they tried to get money off the card I had on file. I was very disappointed. We had to go to another place to get a room.

Breakfast was great

Easy to find location, room was clean.

Breakfast was rather gross, even for a free hotel breakfast.

Room was dirty, needed vacuuming by the desk area.. Beds boxspring cover was stained.

It was very nice not having to stop somewhere else for breakfast. The location was perfect for an overnight stay. Our room was nice and perfectly located near a door where there was parking.

I felt that the food (particularly the fruit) did not seem as fresh as I would like. I have to say the room didn’t have the same clean feeling I used to expect at Marriott properties. The walls and floors could use a good scrubbing. The pillows are awfully thin and saggy. I also have a suggestion that you provide towlettes for makeup removal. I probably ruined a washcloth because I didn’t have one available. None of these negatives would prevent me staying in this hotel again. It’s just probably getting near time for a refresh there.

Everything was clean. Breakfast had lots of options. Staff was great.
