La Quinta by Wyndham Bridgeport

It was ok. Had to change rooms. Toilet seat was not on the toilet. Made for going the bathroom difficult. And we had one towel in our bathroom between two adults and one child. Called and the lady brought up two more. Light bulbs were burned out too. Dark and dreary.

Staff was not helpful, some staff was rude, didn't receive the type of room requested and had to ask multiple times for extra sheets, pillows and towels. Breakfast was subpar. Never saw cleaning staff and they never came to our room to clean and change out towels during our 2 night stay.

We used to stay here when we visited nearby relatives and never had a problem. But since it changed hands it is now one of the worst hotels you could choos in that area. Apparently some water pipes run inside the wall next to our bed. We heard the pipes knocking and banging most of the night. The last time I looked at the clock it was 3:30 in the morning. I finally got about 3 hours of sleep. The same thing the second night. But this time we had the additional noise of a group of men at the pool area right outside our window yelling loudly and playing loud ap music on a portable radio. This went on from about 6 PM until 11PM and finally stopped. Then the water pipes kept up as in the night before. I called the front desk several times to see if anything could be done about the outside noise and the water pipes. They just said they were sorry but they couldn't do anything. So we got a total of about7 hours of sleeps over two nights. Also, the elevator floor had mud and something sticky on it when we checked in Friday afternoon. It was still there Sunday when we checked out. And in the breakfast area the trash can cover was caked with syrup and other unknown substances and stains from coffee spilled on it. I asked if we could get a partial discount due to all the problems. The lady at the desk said she would check with the owner. He offered $25 off a $285 bill. I asked the lady if she would have me call my cell to discuss the discount. but he never called. I didn't get the $25 discount So, if you want to spend and absolutely horrible couple of days at a hotel in Bridgeport, by all means choose the La Quinta.

The customer service was okay took a while for someone to attend me, didn’t stay all the way and they didn’t want to refund a day that I didn’t stay 2/5 stars

The most comfortable bed I have ever slept in in so long. I stayed in the room that is spacious with the jacuzzi. It was easy to check in, the staff there are very helpful. Breakfast was good, plentiful of variety to eat. I love their biscuits and gravy.

I had a wonderful stay here. The staff were exceptionally polite and accommodating. The rooms were spotless, and the environment was incredibly quiet, ensuring a restful experience. Breakfast was very very good I will definitely return!

My bed had stained sheets, I normally check the sheets before I sleep but I forgot to this time.

Would not stay here

Need better customer service skills and how to treat/talk to customers.
