Our 9 day stay at Hotel Estrella De Belem was wonderful. The restored building was an amazing mix of old (walls) and new (bathroom). The staff was friendly, attentive, and helpful. The reservation through Expedia was problem free and allowed us to see room availability and the reservation was without issue. The hotel site has pictures that are as pretty as the actual hotel.

I was there for a wedding, so I didn't spend a ton of time at Estrella. Room was clean, staff was friendly, and coffee was better than expected (I have high standards, so no shade to Estrella). It does seem like a place where you can chill, that is just not what I was there for. Also, they have a iron/steamer if you ask!

La asistencia estuvo excelente. Lo que no puedo comprender es como se llaman un B&B y no incluyen el desayuno. Se hace absurdo que cobren por algo que se supone está incluido. También cobran por las cápsulas de café en la habitación. La mayoría de los hoteles que cobran lo que esté hotel cobra tlya incluye estás cosas. Y, si no van a incluir el desayuno,njo se consideren un Bed and Breakfast. Breakfast literal es desayuno.
