Great location in the center of the tourist area. Easy walk to everything. Rooms set back in a courtyard away from the street

We returned for the second time, choosing the apartment as our accommodation. Warm welcome, very kind staff, super clean and well-equipped apartment. Excellent buffet breakfast available. Central location on the pedestrian street, with easy access to local bars and clubs with live music.

This was the last hotel of the 6th in Iceland. The hotel is a little hard to find as it blends in the other buildings where it’s located! I was happy to find the room was spacious, with even a large couch to sit on with a large closet. It had electronic keycards, which was a plus as two other hotels I stayed at in the capital had physical keys! Very clean and well maintained. The hotel offers a very basic breakfast but it was free so I can’t complain. They are very flexible and let me stay an extra hour past checkout which was kind of them as we weren’t leaving for the airport until 1230pm. Only downside was our room was next to a bar which was quite noisy but not too bad with the windows closed. If you are sensitive to noise, best to ask for a room that isn’t near the action. All in all, I would consider staying here again.
