Brown Trout Golf & Country Inn

I don’t think the photos for the hotel made it justice. It far exceeded my expectations both in terms of charm, comfort and service. The room was absolutely fantastic and so was the food.

Lovely stay, best food iv had in any hotel

Very friendly inn all the rooms are being refurbished. Ideal for dog lovers with some lovely walks around the golf course. Tremendous staff who will make your stay memorable.

Amazing stay fantastic food and excellent service

This is a lovely old world charm hotel. Warm and comfortable with excellent staff. Our room was one of the recently refurbished and was well presented and beautifully clean. Evening meal was great , the smoked salmon was probably one of the best I have ever eaten, it was smoked by the chef himself apparently. Breakfast was all freshly prepared and tasted delicious. We will definitely be back,

We are blaming Covid restrictions but felt the hotel lacked atmosphere

We loved our stay at this hotel. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are large and comfortable. The food in the restaurant is excellent - portions are large! The hotel is very child friendly. I would definitely go back.
