Do not expected to much because the hotel name tells you already it is just basic. But clean room good bed OWN bathroom and toilet including good buffet breakfast for low basic price. Located in middle of Kiel, walking distace to shops bars and restaurants. Just good place for 1 or 2 night visit in Kiel.

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this hotel. Very well located and staff were very friendly and helpful. Bedroom was basic but very clean. Breakfast .was excellent

Cheap and super basic, but not comfortable/modern/quiet enough for my own personal tastes. The hotel is not as smart as the photos show, both inside and outside. Dark and regrettably drab inside and outside, it's not an "inviting" hotel. However, it is close to the main train station (easy 10 minute walk) and the reception was very helpful.

I have been staying in this little hotel a number of times when in Kiel. It is very centrally located and has a car parking deal with the near-by Karstadt Shopping centre. There are different sized rooms, and at the time being they are being renovated. The twin bed rooms are the most spacious ones. Some are facing a large square, some the other way overlooking the back of some buildings, and either way will give you a good night's sleep, there isn't much noise. The beds are comfortable. The bathrooms have a shower cabin, and hair dryers are provided. Breakfast is included, you take what you want from a large table and then seat yourself at smaller tables. The display of the food items could not have been made better! It is clean, varied, good tasting and abundant. I can really recommend this hotel! As for shops and restaurants, you don't have to walk more than 100m, then you are in the middle of them.

Very hellpful reception, gave advice on local attractions and excellent close by beer kieler. The Wursthuis sic. Kiel bright pleasant and clean for short break. Conveinent station with frequent express service to Hamburg.

Very nice service, clean, good location in the senter of Kiel. Small, but nice rooms. Only minus for because we travelld with a baby- it was no elevator. But it was no problem to put the trolly at the resepcion. Good breakfast buffet. Good price.

Renewed rooms, fast WiFi, OK stay

Very conveniently located, near the station, the pedestrian centre and the tourist office, good to choose a double room, as the singles are smallish. There is a good roof top pub open till late, with reasonable prices

good location in the center of town. Shopping near by!

We ended up checking in and checking out within the hour. It was terrible. Service was good with the girl at the front desk but no elevator and we had to carry our big suit case up 8 flights of stairs. It looks like it hasn't been cleaned since the 70s and everything was just old and out dated. In a convenient area but I would never stay there.
