Perdu au milieu de la campagne, très joli, quelques mouches au bord de la piscine, une petite odeur de renfermé dans la chambre, je pense que la suite avec terrasse serait plus confortable, personnel super gentil

"off the beaten track but close to everything"

If you are looking for a taste of Catalonia instead of the typical chain hotel, Rusticae Mas Vilalonga Petit is just that. It's a bit off the beaten track in a rural setting but still only 15 minutes from the coast and maybe 30 minutes from Girona. The owner, Montse, was lovely and made us feel at home. She also helped us with dinner reservations, visits to sights that you can't find in every travel guide, and shared a lot about the local culture. From delicious breakfasts on the patio to the beautiful room and nice gardens with pool, we truly enjoyed our stay.
