Needs updates, but comfortable

Close proximity to the beach.

Parking was at a premium; full lot.

The staff were friendly, hotel was pretty clean overall. Food was decent at the restaurant. The pool was great for the kids and beach access was perfect.

Unfortunately the play area advertised is closed and being destroyed according to the front desk. That was one of the upsides for sure when traveling with kids in a hotel on the coast. If the weather isn't great there isn't a lot to do. Overall we had a good experience. The hotel could use some updates also for the price.

We love the proximity to the ocean, beach and beautiful views. We definitely love coming back again and again.

The only negative aspect was that check in was delayed for all people and many people had to wait over an hour to be registered. Luckily we came late (after 6) and we were able to have a shorter wait. It was excellent that for our troubles, we were given a coupon for some money towards purchasing a meal at the cafe. That’s a smart business practice when unforeseen difficulties arise.

We stayed in a dog friendly room, when we got there is smelled very strong of a fragrance that I’m sure was to cover up the dog smell from previous people that stayed with dogs. I think in the dog friendly rooms they should have no carpet only laminate flooring. The room was nice and the kitchen was very convenient. The bed was a bit firm for our liking and we had to ask for more blankets because they only had one light blanket on the bed. The staff kept the grounds immaculate. It was so nice to be right on the beach and the view was amazing and we had some nice weather too. We stayed for 3 nights and spent a good amount of $$. I was upset as we had planned to have breakfast with the coupon they gave us at check in for the restaurant the day we left but I found out it was not valid for the day we check out. So we asked the front desk if she could change the date and let us use it she said NO! we were not too happy about that after staying for 3 nights so we took our business elsewhere:(

It was very clean and the view of the ocean was beautiful. Breakfast was okay.

The bed was hard as a rock.
