The Halfwaiy Inn

We will absolutely stay here again on our return trip back to Canada from La Paz. Large rooms, clean, safe, good warm shower with decent water pressure and dog friendly. Nothing fancy but it checks all the boxes. We didn’t have a chance to try the restaurant on site, but we will on our return trip. There are a couple of patches of grass outside the hotel and a very large parking lot where we walked our dog. We only saw two small puggles at the south end of the parking lot, but no other unleashed or street dogs which is important to us as we have a very dog reactive rescue dog.

This property is majestic. It has a large open lobby with a bar and a restaurant. It has a central garden with tables. The rooms are set in the Spanish style off of the garden. The rooms are large and nicely appointed with a small refrigerator and a coffee maker with lovely tile floors. There is an air conditioner and heater in a fan and some examples of Mexican glasswork .

Conveniently located on the highway halfway to Cabo San Lucas.In house restaurant and lounge and a unique hotel design with iinside courtyard.

Hotel from 1973 and needs renovation urgently. Parking is ok, food is very good.

Is clean reliable place to stay and is pet friendly

We stay here several days a year and have always found it to be fine. However, this time the bed spread in our room was a mattress pad. That is disgusting.

Very convenient, clean, great parking, good food, pet friendly and nice bar. Loved the shower. Our favorite place to stay when traveling between our home in CA and Mulegé.
