Hotel Mision Catavina

Out in the middle of nowhere you find this great place to spend the night with a restaurant too.

Great Hotel, a real desert oasis.

Very unique pplace

This hotel was not comfortable at all. The bed was hard. The pillows were lumpy and the towels were in bad shape

There were a lot of good things with this location and if they were to change the bad, i would probably stay again. The location was quaint and well cared for despite its age. The pool was a welcome sight after a long day. Having a restaurant but not having it open was a huge negative. The town population was under 200 and the gas station closed down, so no where else to get anything. At a minimum, let it be known so you can make alternative arrangements instead of saying you have a restaurant. The real kicker for me was when i asked if they had any snacks or anything they did not wish to sell anything they had in the gift shop. I saw numerous snacks and an ice cream chest, but nothing available.

In the middle of an isolated desert oasis, rich with Native American rock art, is a 4-star mission style hotel complete with Tesla charging stations. The road from the border and back is smooth, paved and well maintained. Looking forward to staying again, soon.

I always stay here while driving up or down Baja. Nice large rooms, with a pool , and decent restaurant.

Good restaurant, plenty of hot water, and overall a nice place to stay in the middle of nowhere.
