Port d'Hiver Bed and Breakfast

We went for our anniversary. The staff was wonderful. We loved the pool, hot tub and the room. Although you were close to shops, restaurants and the beach, you felt like you were away from it all. And the cookies were delicious.

The history of the home is still present however with an up to date feel. Well balanced between the two. The welcome was warm as are all the amenities they offer. The cookies are moreish. Would stay again.

Comfortable, Key West style room which was quiet and soothing. The grounds were well kept. We love walking across to the beach.

Even though its on the street corner, its so private inside the gates. The landscape is gorgeous. So clean and nice.

The air wasn't on in our room, but we told the front desk they fixed it immediately and it was great.

Food was delicious. We looked forward to the breakfast selections. Also the cookies are the best ever! The staff was so thoughtful and accommodating. Our room was perfect, private and comfortable.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay! The staff and property are top notch. Can not wait to come back again for a romantic weekend at the beach.

Beautifully maintained gardens and spa areas. Delicious breakfast and access to water and sodas and a happy hour 5-6pm which was a nice touch. So close to the beach and delicious restaurants.

Love everything about the property and can’t wait to return. The staff are very friendly and we appreciated all the personal touches. Really enjoyed the fresh baked cookies and the evening social hour.

That our stay was too short.

Really enjoyed the grounds and staff! Easy to access the beach across the street. Bed was comfortable, breakfast was ok. I appreciate all the small personal details during our trip. I could have sat in The courtyard for days taking in the atmosphere. Our room looked over a busy road, however we didn’t really notice much noise at all. The B&B is located in a bit of a neighborhood which is nice because it’s not as busy and loud as you might expect for the area. I wish there was more storage in the bathroom, as it was very tricky using the small shelf above the sink. There was a tall shelf nearby that we used to hold more of our necessities, but it is a very narrow shelf and made it a bit complicated to navigate everything we had stored for our daily routines. I also really wish the towels and washcloths were not directly beside the toilet. I was very turned off by that and didn’t want to use the towels. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay. I think if we return in the future, I’d prefer a courtyard view room over the ocean view.
