La Mision Loreto Hotel

Maybe just the holiday but excessive street noise from car sound systems it quit around 2am.

La Mision is the best hotel. The staff is very helpful and happy to be there. From the front desk to the concierge to the bar and restaurant. Best pizza in town. Close to the shopping and marina. Our room was wonderful. It had a great view, comfortable bed. Housekeeping kept our room immaculate, even made towel animals. The only downside here is no refrigerator in the room and it can get loud when they have parties. Some cars cruise the avenue with their music turned to maximum volume. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to our friends. Loreto is a very friendly town.

Ocean front way great until you went to bed. The street noise, cars with boom boxes went on until midnight. Restaurant service was awful, we left before our main course.

A group of approximately 8 obnoxious young men checked in and were very loud, disrespectful, profane, and hung out for 2 hours in the pool bar area and then 3 hrs in the hotel restaurant and this was the worst case of “ugly Americans” that I have seen in 50 yrs of traveling. What bothered me just as much as these loud and disgusting people was the hotel staff refused to ask them to control their behavior. The hotel was full of couples, children and families and could not possibly enjoy themselves with this vexation. Several people asked to call the police to have get them under control or remove them but the hotel did nothing. So approximately 8 hoodlums ruined it for hundreds of respectful guests and by doing nothing about it the hotel staff essentially sided with the nasty 8.

The hotel and service was excellent. We'll definitely return
