"Great hotel to break a long drive"

The hotel was immaculately clean and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. The Ibis is right beside the highway which makes it incredibly practical for stopping on route if doing a long drive but means the surrounding area lacks any real charm. The rooms are fairly small, but incredibly practical and well laid out with good WiFi. I would have given it full marks across the scale but my air con rattled through the night so I didn’t have a great night’s sleep. There are two restaurants immediately outside the hotel which are perfectly adequate and easy to feed the whole family. If you’re travelling with kids there is a decent pool, table tennis and a babington net. The breakfast is superb - worth going just for that :) Definitely not a romantic destination point but gets top marks for easy and efficient,

"Tired hotel with smelly old rooms - new rooms okay"

Stayed here since it opened about ten years ago because it is perfectly positioned on our way to Spain. However, even though it has a new wing we are always put in the oldest rooms. These are now tired, worn out and smelly.

Excellent position for stop en route from England to South of France. The only reason I did not give full marks for local area is because it is a little way from the city centre if people want to see this.

"A very convenient and restful hotel"

We were very impressed with this hotel, especially as it is just off the motorway. It was easy to find and park. The room was large and even had an upstairs for children with a stair gate. Nearby restaurants were easy to find and the hotel breakfast enjoyable. There was free coffee available in the foyer, which was a bonus. Well worth a stopover.

I will always stay here in the future. Family loved it excellent Vfm discount for guests at superb restaurants very close by. Very clean well presented large choice breakfast. Value for Money 100 out of 100.

"Perfect stop off"

Great hotel and perfect for a stop off en route for south France / Spain. Tidy and with appealing decor - plenty of space in a family room with a cool mezzanine space for kids. Would come back again.
